Andrea Puglisi was born and raised in Turin, Northern Italy but has spent the last 10 years in Australia between Melbourne and Perth.
He prides himself in his Italian heritage and his passion for the art of culinary is shown in Season 15 of MasterChef AU 2023.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the HolaconLola kitchen was closed however..
On Saturday 15 April 2020, HolaconLola ran our paella and sangria cooking classes LIVE!!! Yes!!!! We cooked together all thanks to technology!
How did it work?
Tickets were purchasable through our website to book spots online! Once booked, a booking confirmation along with a list of the ingredients and kitchen utensils needed was sent.
It was a unique way to make dinner! From a great family activity, to a special treat with an iso buddy or simply a great way for people at home alone to stimulate their night.

The Chefs James Califano & Lola Migliore
James Califano is an Italian Cook, Bartender, Photographer and Videographer. Born in beautiful Napoli, James is always proud to share his Italian heritage and the culinary knowledge he learnt as a child from his Nonna to working in established institutions.
After completing his Masters Degree in Law in Italy, James decided to completely change the course of his life and move down under in pursuit of a new adventure. Having worked with the likes of David Jones Food Hall and Dan Murphy's, he continued pursuing his passion for food and beverage through creating the platform @italiansdownunder. This project shines the spotlight on to local produce and markets in Melbourne, integrating the fabric of Italian lifestyle whilst also promoting products Made in Italy.
James has a great passion and vast knowledge for everything alcohol, with a passion for cocktails and wines. He loves to shed light on the story behind the beverage whilst sharing the art of bartending and all of the experiences that have shaped him.
